Bubble tea (also known as boba tea) is a popular tea-based drink invented in Taiwan in the 1980s. It typically combines a tea base, milk or fruit flavoring, and chewy tapioca pearls (boba) served over ice.

- Tea Base: Usually black tea (like Assam or Ceylon) or green tea (like Jasmine), and sometimes Oolong.
- Milk or Flavor: Dairy milk, non-dairy creamers, or plant-based milks, paired with fruit syrups, Taro, or matcha.
